This boxy top made is made with intention with a big dash of improvisation.
Inspired by the work of Serbian geophysicist and astronomer Milutin Milankovitch, this top will appeal your inner nerd and impress your scientific friends. These images were also used in a print collaboration I did with a friend and geochemist, Kaye Savage.
Top part of blouse is screenprinted abstract imagery on hand-dyed bamboo fabric.
Bottom part of blouse is screenprinted imagery of the Milankovitch cycles and benzene molecules on hand-dyed organic cotton fabric.
This item is one of a kind.
My hand dyed and printed garments are created in small batches with uniquely mixed color combinations. I endeavor to show as many photos as possible of each piece in natural light and from various angles so that you know exactly what you are going to receive. Variations and mottling in color are part of the design.
